Job overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 3 Emergency Department Assistant to join our friendly multidisciplinary team.
The Urgent Treatment Centre at Chase Farm is a forward thinking, dynamic, friendly environment offering a 7 day walk in service for both minor injuries and minor illnesses.
The post holder will liaise appropriately with members of the multi-disciplinary team including
registered student nurses, trainee nurse associates, healthcare support workers, nurses,
doctors, allied health professionals, porters, admin staff and domestic staff. The post holder
will also be expected to communicate effectively with patients and visitors.
Main duties of the job
As a member of Chase Farm UTC team the Emergency Department Assistant will act under the supervision of the Registered Nurse. The role will involve working in conjunction with professionally qualified staff, undertaking delegated care and treatment of patients attending the department.
You will be assisting in providing emergency care to our local population at our stand-alone, state of the art and pioneering UTC.
