Job overview
You will manage the lab and recovery area, liaising with consultant and medical staff, developing and supporting the junior team members. Provide clinical leadership and encourage a culture of continuous improvement.
Main duties of the job
Liaise with consultants, ensure demand and capacity equally matched. Ensuring high clinical standards in accordance with your code of conduct and trust protocols

- Post Graduate course in cardiology or similar
Experience

- Experience in a cardiac catheter lab
- Extensive experience within the field of cardiology
Knowledge
Essential criteria
- specialist knowledge of procedures carried out in the cardiac catheter labs
- an understanding of audit and research based nursing practices
Skills

- IV cannulation
