Job overview

To be part of the clerical team in Radiology, making appointment bookings, and dealing with patients mainly by telephone and sometimes in person. You will be expected to do general reception duties as required.

To ensure all patients receive the highest customer care and all staff and patients visiting the radiology department are dealt with professionally. 

The post holder will be based on the Epsom Hospital site in the Radiology Diagnostic Booking Centre; however, some flexibility is necessary to attend St Helier as and when management requires it. The role is full-time Monday - Friday.

Main duties of the job

We have a vacancy for self motivated and hard working individual to carry out administrative and clerical duties in the Radiology department based at Epsom Hospital

The position involves appointment bookings and occasional reception duties, dealing with patients both in person and by telephone.

The successful applicant will need to have excellent communication skills with knowledge of IT and keyboard skills.

Experience of appointment booking and  reception duties is desirable although full training will be given

The role is interesting and varied and candidates must be keen to learn, enjoy a challenge and have the ability to work collaboratively in a large team.
