Job overview

As a Receptionist and Clinic Administrator within the Ian Charleson Day Centre (ICDC), you will play a crucial role in providing administrative support and front-of-house services in a highly sensitive and patient-focused environment. This role involves direct interaction with patients living with HIV, managing administrative tasks related to their care, and supporting the clinic's multidisciplinary team to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.

Main duties of the job

Reception Duties: Greet and assist patients in a welcoming, respectful, and confidential manner. Manage patient check-ins and appointments using the clinic's electronic systems. Handle incoming calls, providing accurate information and redirecting inquiries as appropriate.  Administrative Support: Perform clerical tasks, including managing patient records, correspondence, data entry with a high level of accuracy and confidentiality, and general data entry into the HIV database for all national data requirements as needed. Assist in the preparation of clinic sessions and meetings.
