Job overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated Senior Clinical Fellow to join a nationally and internationally recognised Haemophilia and Thrombosis Centre with a strong track record in clinical care, research, and innovation.
The post holder will contribute to haemophilia and thrombosis outpatient clinics and play a key role in the care of patients with bleeding and thrombotic disorders, including the review and management of patients participating in clinical trials and other ambulatory pathways. The role also includes active involvement in undergraduate medical student teaching.
The centre hosts more than 10 active interventional clinical studies, offering exceptional exposure to cutting-edge therapies and trial delivery across inherited and acquired bleeding and thrombotic disorders. There are excellent opportunities to develop academic interests, including participation in observational research and laboratory-based projects tailored to the fellow's career aspirations.
The successful candidate will join a dynamic and supportive multidisciplinary team comprising six consultant haematologists, two clinical trainees, and one PhD student. The service is underpinned by a highly experienced clinical trials team of five staff, alongside established and separate specialist nursing teams for haemophilia and thrombosis, providing a robust infrastructure for both clinical excellence and research delivery.
