Main duties of the job
The post-holder will work alongside medical and clinical oncology colleagues at the RFH and CFH sites, and will be essential for service provision, the repatriation of SACT to CFH as well as leading the new Patient Initiated Follow Up (PIFU) MDT and clinic, and overseeing the new nurse-led adjuvant abemaciclib clinic.
The post holder will also support the Royal Free inpatient service (3 on call weeks/year).

- Possession of MBBS or equivalent medical qualification
Desirable criteria
- Post-graduate medical degree e.g. MD/PhD
Experience

- Experience of and commitment to multidisciplinary working
Desirable criteria
- Experience of Acute Oncology
Skills and aptitudes
Essential criteria
- Proven clinical ability in Medical Oncology
- Ability to organise and prioritise workload, to delegate responsibility as appropriate and to supervise doctors in training and other staff
Knowledge
Essential criteria
- Knowledge of the Clinical Governance framework of the NHS (including Research governance) and understanding of current changes in the organisation and management structures of the NHS. Ability to act within these parameters
Desirable criteria
- Knowledge and understanding of the principles of resource and budgetary management within the NHS
Applicant requirements
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
