CLCH Hertfordshire Adult Community Services - CLCH NHS Trust provides a range of Community Services, and the Hertfordshire Division is recruiting!
CLCH is looking to recruit highly motivated experienced registered adults nurses interested in undertaking the BSc(Hons) Specialist Community Practitioner (District Nurse) Qualification in Sept 2023.
This is a fully funded and salaried training place. you will be given a fixed term contract with CLCH to undertake a one year full time course.
Students will be supported by Community Practice Assessors and Practice Supervisors based across the Hertfordshire Division of Central London Community Healthcare NHS Trust.
Start date of the programme: September 2024

Main duties of the job
Candidates will require the following skills / knowledge:
- Current NMC Registration for nursing (Adult Branch)
- DipHE (or above) qualification equivalent to 120 credits at level 5 (of the Higher Education Credit Framework for England) or evidence of previous education and training to this level.
- Note some Universities will accept 60 credits at level 5/6 and offer candidates the option to APEL (accreditation of prior experiential learning)
- For the post graduate diploma route a 2:1 Honours Degree is necessary.
- Post registration study / learning over the past two years.
- Recent experience of working as a registered nurse in a community nursing role

Essential criteria
- Current UK NMC Registration for nursing (Adult Branch)

- Recent experience of working as a registered nurse in a district nursing led service community nursing role
- Evidence of clinical skills relevant to a district nursing led service community nursing role
- Managing staff within a team
- Evidence of involvement in the management of difficult situations and conflict resolution
- Evidence of working without direct supervision and managing own workload
- Teaching and Assessing in clinical practice
- Working within multi-disciplinary teams
