Job overview

To maintain an effective educational environment through ‘at the elbow’ coaching and staff development in a variety of clinical settings, whilst working collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team to enable delivery of high quality effective care, thus improving the patients’ experience  

  

To act as an expert practitioner, resource and role model; to encourage evidence based practice, providing support and supervision for staff.  

  

To be responsible for the development of programmes of Cerner education and training; whilst demonstrating awareness of cultural diversity in the workplace and the need to adapt training accordingly  

  

To collaborate with strategy development and be responsible for the achievement of Cerner engagement Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).  The post holder will contribute to ensuring a conducive work environment and he/she will be a change agent with a strong professional and digital focus

Working for our organisation

The Hillingdon Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is the only acute Hospital in the London Borough of Hillingdon and offers a wide range of services including accident and emergency, inpatient care, day surgery, outpatient clinics and maternity services. The Trust’s services at Mount Vernon Hospital include routine day surgery, delivered at a modern treatment centre, a minor injuries unit and outpatient clinics.

  • Registered Nurse or Registered Practitioner
  • Minimum requirement of Degree qualification and post registration qualification applicable to specialist area.
  • Mentorship in Practice or equivalent
  • A professional role model. Practices according to policy and NMC Code
  • Self-motivated, with drive and initiative. Able to work autonomously and within a team
  • Able to process, retain and manage multiple, and complex, pieces of information
Desirable criteria
