Trosolwg o'r swydd

The post is based at Homerton University Hospital in Hackney. Teaching of postgraduates and medical students is considered a high priority.

The post is offered on a full-time basis of 8 clinical programmed activities and 2 supporting professional activities, although applications are welcomed from those wishing to work less than full time.

Specialist interests in Medical Leadership and critical care outreach would be of interest to the Trust and would be strongly encouraged. An additional NHS responsibility PA allowance may also be available for clinical leadership, following appointment and subject to mutual agreement. Interested candidates should discuss this aspect with the AMD.

The post is open to applicants on the specialist register for intensive care medicine (or within six months of entry via an approved training scheme). Dual specialty candidates are very welcome to apply and there would be flexibility to accommodate sessions within an allied specialty.
