Job overview

Band 3 Operational and Support Systems Coordinator.

Full time: 37.5 hours per week, flexible working will be considered.

This is a unique opportunity to be part of an award-winning, dynamic team delivering wheelchairs, posture management and sleep system equipment services along with an in-house repair and maintenance service.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated administrator to join the established admin team.

Main duties of the job

You will be an essential part of the running of the wheelchair hub services, managing the referrals, appointments, repairs and orders.

You will have excellent customer service skills, with an ability to build rapport and  communicate with empathy, respect and patience when dealing face to face or by telephone with our users, who have a broad range of communication needs

You will have experience and an organised approach to administration and clerical duties.  You will demonstrate accuracy and be methodical in data entry in IT systems and our bespoke Data Base system called BEST.

You will have excellent interpersonal skills, working with colleagues and co-ordinating services to deliver high quality, client-centered care. Supporting the service delivery 8am-5pm Monday -Friday.

You will have enthusiasm and be keen to learn, delivering continual improvement within the service. You will develop your skills in line with administration competencies, with access to clinical and technical support to help you understand the workings of the service. You will be well supported by the admin team lead and clinical services manager.

Qualifications

Essential criteria
  • Education to NVQ 2 level or equivalent

Experience

Essential criteria
  • Demonstrable experience of working in an administrative environment and working with computerised data systems with accuracy

  • Demonstrable customer care.
