Job overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full time (37.5 hours per week) Band 3 Assistant Patient Pathway Coordinator to work as part of our Audiology, ENT & Oral Services administration team. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team coordinating patients appointments, dealing with patient queries and supporting the service line management team to meet patient access and waiting time targets. 

Main duties of the job

The post holder will be the point of contact for all administrative issues relating to patients’ pathway of care. The post holder will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and will provide support to the Patient Pathway Coordinator (PPC) in the proactive management of the patient pathway from referral to discharge, ensuring the entire pathway is managed smoothly.

The post holder will ensure high levels of patient and clinician satisfaction by being an accessible, customer focussed and knowledgeable point of contact. To provide a consistent approach across the Trust, using Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure that functions of the role are carried out correctly within given timescales.
