Job overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic, friendly and motivated housekeepers to work in the Orthopaedic Ward at Kingston Hospital. We are interested in hearing from individuals who are willing to work hard within a strong, friendly team. They will be required to provide a key service within the hospital for both staff and patients.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will work as an integral part of the unit team, being responsible for ensuring the delivery of a range of activities to support the clinical team in delivering care, including keeping the unit neat, tidy, uncluttered and well presented; the daily stock of clinical supplies and for equipment cleaning and maintenance. They will be responsible for maintaining a safe and comfortable ward environment and will work flexibly being prepared to undertake those non-nursing duties designated by the Ward Sister/Nurse in Charge.
