Job overview
An exciting opportunity/vacancy has become available at Kingston Hospital for a Medical Staffing Coordinator who will be responsible for leading in the management of General Surgery, Urology, and Trauma and Orthopedics clinical staffing rota's.
The successful candidate will be expected to provide an efficient service in a pressured environment. The post holder will work closely with the Trust's senior management, Medical HR and other stakeholders for developing and maintaining the rotas on a daily basis.
Main duties of the job
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and proven administrative experience, including keyboard skills and experience of Microsoft Word, Excel and database systems (Healthroster).
Candidates will need to demonstrate a high degree of attention to detail and have the ability to prioritise their workload in order to meet tight timescales.
Previous experience with rota coordination, working within a workforce department or working with medical staff and doctors is desirable although not essential.

- Computer literate using Microsoft packages included but not limited to Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint.
- Previous experience of creating and maintaining spreadsheets/databases.

- Healthroster/ Medical rota management
- NVQ III in Administration/Office Practice or equivalent, or equivalent demonstrable experience
