Applications are invited for the post of Trust Doctor in ENT

 

Applications are invited for the post of Trust Doctor in ENT (equivalent to ST1/2) to join the ENT team at Whipps Cross Hospital.

The successful candidates will need to demonstrate commitment to teamwork with colleagues, develop clinical care pathways in the overall management of ENT patient actively participate in the teaching audit and research in the department. The post holder will participate in an on-call rota of 1:8.

Essential criteria
  • MB BS
Desirable criteria
  • MRCS Part 1 & 2 DOHNS

Knowledge

Essential criteria
  • Basic knowledge of ENT conditions and emergency management
Desirable criteria
  • Previous experience of managing ENT emergencies

Prior Experience & Management/Audit Experience

Essential criteria
  • Completion of FY1 and FY2 year.
Desirable criteria
  • Previous ENT experience and experience in other surgical specialities. Previous participation in Audit Projects

Academic Achievements & Research/Publications

Desirable criteria
  • Research/Publications in ENT and related specialties

Personal Skills

Essential criteria
  • Can communicate well in English
  • Good interpersonal skills
