We have an exciting role working alongside our physiotherapists & occupational therapists in our integrated team. We are looking for someone dynamic, enthusiastic and motivated to support the team in providing therapy services on the wards.

Main duties of the job
This role will involve you working closely with the multidisciplinary team, assessing and treating patients with a wide range of presentations. You should be adaptable, flexible, have a great sense of humour and enjoy working as part of a large friendly team in a busy environment. The role is a rotational post on an annual basis. The teams that this role will rotate into are medicine, orthopaedics, stroke, older people, surgery & amputees, musculoskeletal and emergency therapy.
To assist the therapy team in providing a high standard service to patients, by supporting the multi-professional team assisting in the assessment and implementation of treatment programmes and care plans for patients.

- Formal technical qualification, e.g. City & Guilds, or Health Care NVQ or equivalent skills acquired through in-service development or experience

- Appropriate experience of working in a therapy/nursing assistant role

- Acute NHS experience in either therapy or nursing assistant role
