The Role

Join our specialist Enhanced Care Team providing one-to-one therapeutic support to patients with complex mental health needs, dementia, delirium, and learning disabilities. You'll work alongside NELFT mental health professionals, delivering person-centred care that truly makes a difference.

Essential criteria
  • Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care or equivalent experience
  • Care Certificate
  • Dementia and Delirium awareness training
Desirable criteria
  • Level 4 qualification in Health and Social Care
  • Mental Health First Aid qualification
  • Specific mental health competencies training
  • De-escalation and conflict resolution training

Experience

Essential criteria
  • Experience in healthcare or social care setting
  • Experience working with vulnerable adults
  • Experience providing direct patient/client care
  • Experience working as part of a healthcare team
Desirable criteria
  • Experience working with patients with mental health needs
  • Experience of dementia or learning disability care
  • Experience of enhanced observation or similar specialist support
  • Experience of crisis intervention or challenging behavior management

Knowledge

  • Understanding of enhanced care principles
