Job overview
Job Purpose
The ICT Configuration Analyst works within the Applications Development Team (Community Health) and Clinical Systems Design for Care programme, leading the production, development, implementation & promotion of system change across the Trust; according to requirements set out by key stakeholders across the Trust and as defined by National policy, initiatives & standards.
Main duties of the job
The post holder is responsible for project management, co-ordinating the delivery of complex development requests. The role involves extensive work with end users, divisional management teams and other key stakeholders to ensure system changes align with clinical and business outcomes & close, collaborative liaison with the ICT Teams, Operational Teams and the CLCH Programme Teams to provide an effective end-to-end development cycle.
The post holder will be responsible for:
• Configuration of both EMIS and SystmOne Clinical Systems
• Delivery of the configuration for Clinical Systems Design for Care Programme
• Maintenance of EMIS and SystmOne systems as outlined by the trust
• Adhering to standardisation, Information Governance and Clinical Safety standards set out by the Trust

Skills & Knowledge
Essential criteria
- Have experience of administering and supporting an organisational wide IT system
- Have knowledge of, and be able to communicate effectively on complex operational requirements for effective system management (e.g. performance monitoring etc)
- Must be familiar with community environment and the role of EPR Systems in the clinical and business operation of the Trust
- High level of proficiency in the use of IT tools, particularly Microsoft Office. Advanced keyboard skills
Desirable criteria
- Competence in process analysis and redesign techniques
Education/Qualification
Essential criteria
- Educated to Degree education or equivalent level or equivalent experience
- Evidence of continuous personal and professional development.
- ITIL Certification or relevant experience or working in an ITIL environment
Experience
Essential criteria
- Professional experience providing support for Clinical Applications
- Demonstrable understanding of clinical workflows relevant to EPR in NHS setting.
- Experience of digital/IT clinical systems change/project management while also developing and maintaining high standards of quality
- Knowledge of NHS/Government policies, strategies and organisational relationships in relation Clinical Systems, to be able to advise stakeholders and develop proposals for the service area
- Knowledge of digital healthcare standards and NHS datasets and their relationship to coding, finance and commissioning
- Experience of developing and executing testing plans

- Prince 2 qualification
