Job overview
Main role is to lead and provide spiritual support appropriate to the needs of the Muslim patients, relatives and friends and staff.
Main duties of the job
To work collaboratively with the members of the Multi -Faith Chaplaincy Team and Trust staff to ensure that the spiritual, pastoral, religious and cultural needs of patients, relatives and friends and staff are met according to agreed standards.

Person specification
Islamic trainig and related faith experience
Essential criteria
- Degree level or faith equivalent
- Faith experience of ministry
- Understanding of world faiths
- Ability to relate to human suffering and illness
Desirable criteria
- in depth knowledge of own faith and world faiths
- Experience of working in the NHS
