Epic Bridges (Integration) Configuration Analyst

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the EPR Team at GOSH, one of the most digitally advanced trusts in the UK and in Europe, accredited the first HIMSS level 7 Hospital in Europe for Outpatients Electronic Medical Records Adoption Model. Patients are at the centre of everything we
do and our Electronic Patient Record (EPR) helps to ensure that we continue to get better at delivering services and treatment plans designed around patients.

Our vision is to create a digitally enabled organisation that supports the delivery of efficient and effective patient care, achieved through easy-to-use systems that provide staff and patients with access to the right information, in the right place, at the right time. To help us to achieve this vision, we are looking for passionate individuals to join the Bridges (System Integration) Team.

Applicants will be invited to complete testing in person at one of our London testing sites, or must provide a proof of prior testing.  The test is a great way to ensure you would be successful in passing the Epic Certification and excel in the role of analyst."

Only candidates with suitable test results will be invited to interview.

Main duties of the job

We are ideally looking for applicants that have knowledge or experience of integration between clinical systems, or knowledge of Clinical Application build within an electronic health record (EHR), but will
consider good applicants without such prior experience.

The successful candidate will work as part of a dedicated team on the configuration and maintenance of the Epic Bridges Application. Much of this work requires close collaborative and coordinated working with other EPR application teams and the Trust Integration Engine (TIE) team. We also work closely with technical specialists from our EPR supplier Epic, as well as the Bridges Team from our Connect Organisation, the Royal Marsden Hospital.

If you have Epic experience and are already certified in an Epic application we definitely want to hear from you, suitable candidates with
equivalent experience will have the opportunity to become a fully qualified Epic analyst with career progression through:

• Epic training and certification
• Flexible combination of remote and office based working days
• Opportunities to expand your Epic knowledge and gain further Certifications
• Lead or participate in exciting transformation projects, working closely with our clinical teams

Working for our organisation

We are keen to make our workforce as diverse as the communities we serve, and we hope to attract applications from underrepresented groups, including people with Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic heritage, people with a disability, and people from LGBTQ+ communities. By growing an ever more diverse workforce, we’ll have a greater range of perspectives and knowledge, meaning that we can provide the children and young people at our hospital with even better care

Our hospital is committed to creating an environment that is open and inclusive. Our staff are encouraged to engage with colleagues through the following networks: REACH (Race, Ethnicity and Cultural Heritage) ENABLED (Enhancing Abilities & Leveraging Disabilities Network), PRIDE and Women’s networks; all of which are sponsored by a member of our Executive Management Team.

We want to ensure that all of our people, regardless of their background, are seen and heard. We want to attract applicants that share our commitment to inclusion and that understand diversity is a strength that is embraced and valued.
