Senior Pharmacy Assistant – Distribution

Job overview

We have a vacancy for enthusiastic Senior Pharmacy Assistant who will be responsible for topping up Theatres and associated areas. You will work closely with the Senior Technician to provide a seamless medicine 
supply system, communicating stock issues through the appropriate channels.

We are looking for someone with a good understanding of spoken and written English, basic Maths, basic IT and good communication skills in order to deal with a wide variety of pharmacy staff and ward staff. You should be able to follow procedures closely and be able work well in a team to provide a high-quality patient-focused service.

Main duties of the job

You will work as part of team of Pharmacy Assistants by assisting with the receipt of medicines into the Hospital. Attention to detail is paramount to ensure that medicines are stored in the correct location and at the correct Temperature preventing wastage due non compliance.
