Homerton Healthcare has an exciting opportunity, to work within the Frailty Virtual Ward in an administration role. The service is a growing a developing one and would suit a person who can support the team through these stages. 

The post holder will participate in the provision of Administrative and Clerical duties within the Frailty virtual ward, that sits amongst other services within the Integrated Independence team and to provide an efficient and effective service within the Integrated Independence team as a whole.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will be independently responsible for organising, managing, and developing administrative support specifically within the Frailty Virtual Ward

The post holder will independently be the first point of contact for all clients, carers, health professionals and other service user’s enquiries, including communicating information of a sensitive nature

The post holder will be independently responsible for the maintaining the integrity of the frailty virtual ward and Integrated Independence Team

The post holder will be responsible for ensuring that all correspondence relating to the frailty virtual ward is completed in a timely fashion.

The post will be working in a challenging socio-economic environment, involving clients who may be highly distressed, and those from culturally diverse backgrounds.

The postholder to support the input of local team information onto a national database

The postholder will support with administration duties with differing services, sitting within IIIT

The postholder will help prepare reports and help collect data.
