Job overview
The Matron will be a highly visible, accessible, and supportive presence in Theatres & Perioperative Services, to which patients, their families and others can turn for leadership, assistance, advice, and support. The post holder will be part of the Divisional Nursing Leadership team with specific responsibility for Theatres & Perioperative Services.

Experience
Essential criteria
- Relevant experience at senior nurse level (band 7 or above) in Theatres & Perioperative services
- Experienced in managing budgetary resources across a service
- Experience of working with establishments & workforce planning experience
- Evidence of managing complaints/ PALS
Knowledge

- Evidence of demonstrable knowledge of management development and nursing policy and practice development Sound knowledge of relevant surgical and
