An opportunity has arisen for a Band 5 Physiotherapist to join the forthcoming musculoskeletal outpatients rotation*
You will join other Band 5 Physiotherapists our Hackney based NHS Service and benefit from our established band 5 MSK training program.
The Locomotor service provides specialist musculoskeletal assessment and rehabilitation in community hubs across Hackney. The team is supported by a team of senior clinicians which include advanced practice Physiotherapists. The service also benefits from an integrated persistent pain service, you will have the opportunity to discuss any pain cases you have with them.
We place a strong emphasis on staff development and well-being, reaching the finals of the 2023 national award (PENNA) for its staff well-being work. The Locomotor service is also a finalist in two prestigious 2024 HSJ Award categories.
Applicants who already have experience working as a Physiotherapist in an NHS MSK service will be at an advantage.
You will also be encouraged to apply our next Homerton band 5 or band 6 MSK recruitment round as an internal candidate (whichever is most appropriate).

Main duties of the job
This post would suit a qualified Physiotherapist, who is interested in further developing their existing skills in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy. MSK outpatients experience working as a qualified Physiotherapist within the NHS would be an advantage.
You will work with a client group that is very diverse, clinically, economically and culturally.
