As a Staff Nurse working on Priestley Ward you will obtain specialist nursing skills and knowledge in looking after acutely unwell general and elective  surgery patients.

You need to have a passion in caring for the acutely unwell patient and thrive in an ever changing and challenging nursing environment. You should demonstrate excellent communication and team working skills and be able to effectively prioritize your workload in a busy clinical environment.

**Please note closing date is indicative, and advert may be closed early if there are a high number of applications. **

Main duties of the job

The post holder will practice within a team of nursing staff, and act as a ‘named nurse’ for a group of patients: assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating their care needs.
