Main duties of the job

You will have the opportunity to work in all areas of the department, where you can develop your own clinical and management skills as you further your career. 

Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust has been awarded prestigious Pathway to Excellence designation for nursing at the Charing Cross Hospital site.  It is the first acute hospital in London and within the Shelford Group to gain this international recognition. We will now build on this achievement by extending the approach to all our other hospitals.

Our work to build a positive practice environment has included the introduction of shared-decision councils, which have helped staff make improvements in their work areas and have a greater role in decision-making across the Trust.   • Experience of shift leading and managing flow is essential.
  • Applicants will need to demonstrate a dynamic, hardworking, and passionate approach to delivering high quality patient care.
  • Provide specialist nursing advice to support and facilitate high quality, individualised care to patients/clients and relatives/carers
  • To be flexible in the approach to the clinical area
