We’re thrilled to offer exciting opportunities to become part of our amazing Hotel Services – Domestic Team at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust!

You’ll be working across all four of our Trust sites on a substantive contract, with up to 37.5 hours per week available. Our flexible 5 out of 7-day rota means you'll have variety in your schedule while being part of a supportive and dedicated team making a real difference every day.

Main duties of the job

  • Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
  • Deliver exceptional customer care with courtesy, efficiency, and a commitment to a positive patient experience.
  • Provide a high-quality cleaning service in line with Trust policies and the National Standards of Cleanliness 2025.
  • Actively contribute to raising standards and improving service delivery.
  • Uphold Infection Control Policies and consistently demonstrate behaviours aligned with Trust Values, helping to minimise healthcare-associated risks.

  • GCSE English or equivalent

Experience

Essential criteria
  • Working within a cleaning team, dealing with waste, smells, bodily excretions and dirt
Desirable criteria
  • Previous experience of working within domestic services, other hotel services or health care departments
  • Previous experience in a customer facing role

Skills/Knowledge/ Abilities

Essential criteria
  • Ability to respond well in all situations.
  • Ability to foster and maintain effective working relationships at all levels
  • Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team
Desirable criteria
  • Previous experience of working within domestic services, other hotel services or health care departments
