Job overview

Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust has an established Transformation function, with Executive Director leadership.  The team brings strategic focus and structure to change projects, and ensures alignment with the Trust’s overall strategic objectives, both as an organisation and across the local health economy.

This is a key role, helping us to reconfigure our ways of working.  The team is delivering results, and you will help us continue to do that.  You will report to a Programme Lead, as part of our Transformation Team.  The position is based at St. Mary’s Hospital, Paddington, in our team office and will require ad-hoc travel to our other sites Charing Cross Hospital and Hammersmith Hospital as part of the role.

Main duties of the job

  • Lead on ad-hoc corporate transformation projects (scoping the issue, creating the project charter with the internal client, assisting with creation of a tactical plan with timing plan, and ongoing coaching and leadership to assure delivery).
  • Work with wider stakeholders to ensure that all projects (clinical or corporate) take a holistic and pragmatic view of the issues arising, proposed solutions and benefits realisation.
  • Be a ‘critical friend’ to other Transformation tactical plans that are under way
  • Role model leadership behaviours and Trust values, working as part of a collegiate team and ensuring an on-going culture of continuous improvement

Working for our organisation

At Imperial College Healthcare you can achieve extraordinary things with extraordinary people, working with leading clinicians pushing boundaries in patient care.  Become part of a vibrant team living our values - expert, kind, collaborative and aspirational. You’ll get an experience like no other and will fast forward your career.
