Main duties of the job

Support the Chief People Officer in creating and delivering the Trust’s Brilliant People Strategy and People & Culture Plan.

Lead on workforce transformation, organisational development, and cultural change across a large, complex NHS Trust.

Provide strategic leadership across all areas of HR, including employee relations, workforce intelligence, and business partnering.

Champion diversity, equity and inclusion, and help embed a culture where everyone feels valued and empowered.

Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders and represent the People Directorate at executive and board level.

This role is ideal for someone who is ready to step into a broader leadership position and is looking to progress to a Chief People Officer role in the future.

  • Knowledge and experience of the NHS
