LGT Pathology is embarking on an exciting, fully NHS partnership with Barts Health and Homerton University Hospital to become a major provider of diagnostic services to South and East London. The anticipated formation date is late spring / early summer 2021 at which point the post holder will transfer to be employed by the host organisation of the partnership namely Barts health
An opportunity has arisen to join our fully accredited Biochemistry team for enthusiastic candidates who have attained their specialist portfolio or equivalent. The post holder will rotate through all sections of the department (Automation, POCT, Special Proteins, Manual and Immunology).
The department has Roche Cobas 800 (C702 / e801 units) with pre and post analyticals as its primary analysers. The LIMS is Clinisys (Winpath ), whilst the Trust uses Cerner order comms and T Quest for GP work.
The Successful candidate will be required to work at either site and participate in the departments shift patterns delivering a 24 / 7 service.
