Job overview

We are seeking enthusiastic LAS doctor ST4-6 (From August 2025) to join our inpatient and community eating disorder teams at the St Anns Hospital. These posts offer an incredible opportunity to gain hands-on experience in managing eating disorders in a variety of settings (community, liaison and inpatient), within a supportive and dynamic multidisciplinary team.

Main duties of the job

• Working on Iris Ward Specialist Adult Eating Disorder Unit.
• Participating in twice weekly morning MDT meetings, patient reviews, and case formulation discussions.
• Gaining comprehensive experience in specialist eating disorder assessment, patient management, and multidisciplinary collaboration.
• Developing your skills through excellent clinical supervision and training opportunities.

Qualifications

Essential criteria
  • MBBS or equivalent primary medical qualification AND MRCPsych examination; OR a specialist qualification in psychiatry from an EU country that complies with the requirements of EU directive 2005/36/EC
  • Eligibility for full registration with the GMC and a current license to practice at the time of appointment.

  • Appropriate knowledge base and capacity to apply sound clinical judgement.
  • Capacity to prioritize clinical need.
