Job overview

The role of the security manager is to provide a professional security service which delivers an environment that is safe and secure so that the highest standards of clinical care can be made available to patients. This will be achieved by working in close partnership with stakeholders within the NHS, and external organisations such as the police. The security manager will provide a comprehensive, inclusive and professional security management service and work towards the creation of a pro-security culture within the organisations and the NHS.

The security manager (operations) will be directly responsible for the management of the  in-house   security   operations    on  the   Royal   Free   London,   Hampstead    site.

Responsible for effective day to day operations of the security personnel, the security control room as well as develops and ensures the professional training of all security staff.

The post holder will be expected to perform the duties of a Security Management Specialist  and be able to assists the Trust’s Group Head of Security  in the deployment of security management support across the Group.
