Job overview

The post holder will  provide a comprehensive, efficient, and effective administrative service to the LEO Community and OASIS Teams.  Excellent communication with team members will be required to they are freed up concentrate on clinical duties.  

Essentially the post holder must have excellent communication and team working skills  to ensure that colleagues  and clients are kept abreast of necessary information in a timely manner. 

 

Main duties of the job

  • Format and send out letters
  • Book interpreters
  • Keep client records current at all times
  • Pull KPI data, share and work on to ensure records are current
  • Log referrals and respond t referrals as they arrive.
  • Cover reception for breaks and in times of colleague absence
  • Minute Meetings
  • Order stationery and clinical supplies
  • Support  junior Administrator
  • Process data request
  • Manage petty cash and issue of fare reimbursements
  • Carry out H&S Induction with new staff

Our ideal Administrator will have some experience working in a clinical team or similar, be passionate about providing exceptional customer service, have excellent communication, organisational and administration skills. Experienced to at least intermediate office 365 level in excel and demonstrate brilliant time keeping and reliability.  They should be able to ensure all mandatory training is carried out and take responsibility for their development. 

Working for our organisation

South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust provide the widest range of NHS mental health services in the UK as well as substance misuse services for Marcpeople who are addicted to drugs and alcohol. We work closely with the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience (IoPPN), King's College London and are part of King's Health Partners Academic Health Sciences Centre.  Our scope is unique because it is built on three major foundations: care and treatment, science and research, and training and the Community teams across the Trust.

The Trust employ around 5000 staff and serve a local population of 1.1 million people. We have more than 230 services including inpatient wards, outpatient and community services. Currently, provide inpatient care for approximately 5,300 people each year and treat more than 45,000 patients in the community in Croydon, Lambeth, Lewisham and Southwark; as well as substance misuse services for residents of Bexley, Bromley and Greenwich.
