Resuscitation Practitioner
Band 6
Trosolwg o'r swydd
With a better than national average survival to discharge figure, St Georges Hospital successfully delivers the highest standards of training in resuscitation and recognition of deteriorating patients.
The post holder will participate in the delivery of all the training programmes from basic to advanced life support across all specialties.
We would prefer an existing band 6 Resuscitation Practitioner who is already an ILS / ALS instructor, but we will also consider other HCPCs with significant experience at band 6 level with a critical care or emergency medicine background. These candidates must hold a valid ILS / ALS certificate (preferably with an instructor potential nomination) and have teaching experience, excellent practical problem solving skills and a flexible approach to meeting goals.
In addition, your role will also involve audit and governance activities and clinical participation in the cardiac arrest team. You should be enthusiastic, highly motivated, and flexible and have a keen interest within this field. You must be able to work as part of a small dynamic and innovative team.
An Informal visit is strongly recommended.
Please Note: Previous applicants need not apply.
