Job overview

We are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN)/LD Nurse to join Neuropsychiatry service at the world-renowned National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, part of University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. 

This is a unique role working with patients presenting with complex neuropsychiatric conditions, including functional neurological disorder (FND), Parkinson's Disease, Epilepsy etc. You will work as part of a highly skilled multidisciplinary team, delivering patient-centred care in inpatient service. 

Main duties of the job

We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and compassionate RMN/LD Nurse with experience in mental health care. You should have excellent clinical skills, the ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary setting, and a commitment to delivering high-quality, evidence-based care.

Knowledge and Qualifications

Essential criteria
  • Registered Nurse RMN or RNLD
Desirable criteria
  • Registered Nurse RGN-RMN (dual trained)
  • Relevant qualification/experience

Experience

Essential criteria
  • Able to prioritise own workload and that of others as appropriate.
  • Able to work under own initiative within boundaries of role. Minimum 1-2 years relevant clinical experience
