The postholder will be encouraged and supported to undertake relevant postgraduate studies in QA, Clinical Trials and technical services, and gain experience in a related clinical pharmacy speciality.

Main duties of the job

The QA rotation will offer experience in:

•    Maintaining and developing the Quality Systems
•    Approving new products, including clinical trial and unlicensed medicines
•    Effective oversight of the GMP and GDP managed facilities

The Clinical Trial rotation will offer experience in:

•    Developing the systems related to the control of Clinical Trial setup, maintenance and close-out
•    GCP and Clinical Approval of new Clinical Trials cross site.
•    Training and education of pre-registration and qualified pharmacists in Clinical Trials

The Production rotations will offer experience in:

•    Managing PN, CIVAS and Chemo in a busy licenced aseptic facility
•    Technical understanding of the stability and preparation of aseptic products
•    Training and education of pre-registration and qualified pharmacists in Technical Services
