Job overview
The Department of Urology at University College Hospital is looking to recruit a highly motivated and dedicated Clinical Fellow to work across the highly specialised Urology department based at Westmoreland Street Hospital.
Main duties of the job
The appointee will be joining the Robotic surgery team in the largest urological department in the country, and will be part of a fantastic MDT team of approx. 30 consultants, over 20 registrars, other junior doctors, and nursing staff.
o The appointee will be joining the Robotic team in the largest urological department in the country, and will be part of a fantastic MDT team of approx. 30 consultants, over 20 registrars, other junior doctors, and nursing staff.
o The Fellow will assist robotic lists (prostatectomy and cystectomy) as well as supporting the Superficial Bladder Cancer Service and will have training opportunities in all areas.
o There are regular clinics at which the Fellow will have the opportunity to see new patients as well as patients under follow up, under supervision of a consultant.
o The Fellow will have joint responsibility in organizing, presenting and implementing outcomes from the Uro-Oncology team multi-disciplinary meeting in association with uro-radiology and histopathology.
