We’re looking for a Flexible Resourcing and Improvement Specialist to help deliver our ambitious strategy for a more adaptive, sustainable workforce model.
This is a unique opportunity to design and implement creative approaches that reduce reliance on external recruitment, establish internal talent pools, and integrate committee recruitment into our resourcing function. You’ll play a pivotal role in improving processes, leveraging technology, and championing flexible solutions that make a real difference to how we work.

Main duties of the job
What you’ll do:
• Shape the future of resourcing by designing and implementing flexible workforce models that drive agility and sustainability.
• Launch internal talent pools and cross-cover networks to reduce reliance on external recruitment and unlock internal capability.
• Commence the development and introduction of generic role profiles/job families for key roles, ensuring consistency and ease of use across the organisation.
• Identify opportunities for internal cross-cover across departments and design mechanisms that support this, aligned with our matrix ways of working.
• Support improvements to recruitment processes and documentation to make them consistent, streamlined, and user-friendly for candidates and managers.
• Champion technology and innovation and explore emerging tech.
• Integrate committee recruitment into the resourcing function to deliver consistency, quality, and efficiency.

Education/Qualifications
Essential criteria
- Degree level qualification in business, HR, Administrative field or relevant experience
- CIPD Level 5 or evidence of an equivalent qualification (or studying for)
- • Knowledge of specialist area – resourcing, workforce planning or recruitment acquired through post-graduate diploma or equivalent experience or training
Experience
Essential criteria
- Significant experience in recruitment, workforce planning, or resourcing, with a strong understanding of process improvement and service design
- Hands-on experience using HR systems and workforce data to develop and implement resourcing models and improve service delivery
Desirable criteria
- Experience setting up or managing a talent pool/flexible workforce model
Skills/Knowledge
Essential criteria
- Creative thinker with a proactive approach to problem solving, able to develop practical solutions in complex or ambiguous situations.
- Ability to design and implement technology-enabled processes that support workforce agility and efficiency.
