Job overview

NICE Advice provides a single point of contact for the life sciences industry to provide a clear and simple customer journey from clinical development to market access.

The Senior Account Manager will:

  • act as a key point of contact in all matters related to customer needs, services and follow-up
  • build strong connections with clients to develop lasting relationships and encourage repeat business
  • support the coordination and delivery of business development activities
  • have a thorough understanding of our products and services to ensure that we match them to the needs of our customers and provide maximum value
  • foster a client-focussed, commercial mindset across the team

Candidates for the Senior Account Manager role should be able to demonstrate:

  • Experience in business management and business development
  • Experience in developing effective relationships and working in partnership with colleagues from a range of professional backgrounds
  • An understanding of commercial delivery at a strategic and operational level
  • An understanding of business development and strategic account management acquired over a significant period
  • Knowledge of the life sciences industry, including both pharmaceuticals and medical technologies

Main duties of the job

The Senior Account manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring a consistent pipeline of new business to support the sustainability of the NICE Advice business unit, and will:

  • Act as the lead point of contact for new business enquiries into NICE Advice
  • Manage and support the development of the Account Manager
  • Support the Associate Director, Commercial in the development and delivery of the NICE Advice commercial strategy
  • Identify and foster relationships with key accounts from the pharmaceutical and medical technologies industries
  • Partner with operational and technical NICE Advice colleagues to ensure an exemplary client journey from enquiry to project completion
