  • Design and deliver high-quality evidence reviews to inform guideline development
  • Present findings to expert committees and contribute directly to NICE guidance and quality standards

If you are motivated by meaningful work, confident working with complex information, and passionate about improving health and care through high-quality evidence, we would love to hear from you.

Interview date expected to be on 16 and 17 July 2026

NICE is currently recruiting across analytical roles, including Health Technology Assessment Analysts in our Medicines Evaluation Directorate. Candidates with an interest in health technology assessment may wish to consider applying to both opportunities.

  • Lead the planning of evidence reviews, shaping review questions and protocols to support guideline development
  • Work closely with Information Specialists to design and refine search strategies, ensuring comprehensive identification of relevant research evidence
  • Critically assess and select evidence from a wide range of sources, making informed judgements about relevance, quality and inclusion
  • Extract, manage and synthesise complex qualitative and quantitative data using established systematic review methods and specialist tools
  • Apply advanced critical appraisal skills to interpret evidence, identifying strengths, limitations, uncertainty and gaps in the evidence base
  • Produce clear, structured evidence reports that present balanced conclusions and directly inform committee decision making
  • Present and explain complex findings to multidisciplinary committees in a clear, accessible and engaging way
  • Contribute to methodological development, quality improvement and research activity, helping to enhance NICE’s processes and outputs
