Ealing Cognitive Impairment and Dementia Services
Based at Elm Lodge, Greenford, covering Sycamore Lodge, Acton, we are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced administrator to provide high-quality support to our multidisciplinary CIDS West Team.
Shortlisted candidates will be required to attend a skills assessment via Microsoft Teams. The assessment will consist of role-related tasks designed to evaluate the key skills required for the post. To participate, candidates must have access to a Windows-based laptop or PC with a working camera, Microsoft Teams and Microsoft Word. The assessment cannot be completed using a tablet, iPad, mobile phone or Apple device. Candidates who do not meet these requirements will be unable to progress through the recruitment process. Successful candidates at assessment stage will be invited to interview.
Main duties of the job
The ideal candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication, strong IT skills, inter-personal and administration skills with the ability to work flexibly within a challenging environment.
Previous experience in using Rio and Microsoft Office is essential.
The roles are varied and duties include but not limited:
Creating and maintaining electronic client records on clinical database.
Diary management
Audio and copy typing of all clinical correspondence and reports, fast and accurate typing speed is required.
Day to day processing of an effective and sensitive customer service when dealing with direct contact with Service Users, telephone calls and correspondence. Receiving and recording accurate and concise messages, ensuring messages are forwarded on appropriately and timely.
