The shift pattern covers five shifts per week and covers Monday to Sunday.
An element of weekend working will be required

Main duties of the job
Our facilities department provide a range of vital support services across the Hospital including cleaning, portering and housekeeping 24/7. We are now recruiting Rapid response domestic assistants to join our friendly and professional team at The Hillingdon Hospital NHS trust, working across both sites.
The rapid response team provide a deep cleaning service to vacated patient beds across the site. There is a requirement in some cases to wear full PPE. You will also be required to facilitate the cleaning of the external grounds on a rota
The ability to work flexibly and complete a range of shifts is essential. Typically, the shifts are 0600-1330, 0900-1630, 1100-1830, 1400-2200 and occasionally to complete a night shift i.e. 2200-0600.

- Able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with patients,staff and visitors.
- Able to understand the needs to work safely at all times.
Other requirements
Essential criteria
- Able to effectively use cleaning chemicals & equipment eg vacuum cleaners,polishers,mops etc.
- Physically fit able to push trolleys,pull out beds,move light furniture to facilitate cleaning.
- Able to stand for long periods of time.
Desirable criteria
- Knowledge and experience of using electrical floor cleaning equipment.
