Job overview

The Department of ENT at the Princess Royal University Hospital, a division of King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, is looking for an enthusiastic and committed ENT surgeon to join us on a full time (40 hrs. + on-call) contract. The successful candidate should have a broad experience in all aspects of ENT. The post would suit a doctor with career aspirations to complete the CESR pathway.

Main duties of the job

You will take part in outpatient clinics as directed - at both PRUH and Beckenham Beacon sites. The emergency on call rota will be part of your remit. Assistance in operating theatres (both inpatient and outpatient) will be programmed into your timetable. ENT emergencies may need operative management and you will be expected to arrange urgent theatre slots and ensure that patients are adequately prepared.
