Main duties of the job
- This post provides the post holder with the opportunity to develop knowledge, skills and experience in day-to-day delivery of pharmacy service to patients, in conjunction with the patient services and clinical pharmacy teams.
- The post holder will be responsible for dispensing inpatient and discharge medicines, stock management and some clinical pharmacy services

- Understand customer care issues.

- Interested in and have knowledge of the use of drugs.
- Understand the importance of quality issues.
Qualifications
Essential criteria
- NVQ QCF Level 2 in pharmacy services
- GCSE grades A/C or 1-4 in • English Language • Mathematics • Double Award Science
Other
Essential criteria
- Able to communicate well with patients and all levels of staff, both written and verbally
- Able to communicate effectively on the telephone.
- Effective written communication skill
