CLCH Hertfordshire Adult Community Services - CLCH NHS Trust provides a range of Community Services, and the Hertfordshire Division is recruiting!
An exciting opportunity has arisen within our in-patient Intermediate care general rehabilitation beds. We are looking for a band 5 Physiotherapist to join the Physiotherapy team and wider MDT at Potters Bar Community Hospital.
This is a service for the rehabilitation of adults presenting with a range of physical dysfunction/or disabilities resulting from injury, illness, surgery or chronic disease. The majority of the patients are referred from an acute hospital and some may be referred from the community settings and establishments.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join the team, who has the passion and skills for delivering, and maintaining in the team, a high standard of rehabilitation. You will be working with a multidisciplinary team that includes Occupational Therapists, Nurses, Dietitian, Rehabilitation Assistants, Speech and Language therapists and Social Workers.
There is a potential to turn this role in to a rotational post in the near future.

Education/Qualification
Essential criteria
- Degree in Physiotherapy
- Current UK HCPC registration
Desirable criteria
- Post graduate training
- Membership of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy
Experience
Essential criteria
- Experience of carrying out physiotherapy assessments to formulate a comprehensive treatment plans and goals
- Experience of working as part of an MDT
- Use of functional assessment and activity analysis
- Relevant work experience in a variety of clinical placements
Desirable criteria
- Experience of delegation to support staff.
- Experience working in the NHS
Skills & Knowledge
Essential criteria
- Ability to work single-handedly with individuals and groups
- Understanding of professional ethics and their application in practice
- Basic knowledge of health legislation and current practice, risk assessment and management
- Effective written and oral communication skills
- Basic knowledge of the principals of clinical governance
- Ability to manage time/caseload effectively
- Commitment to patient-centred, non-discriminatory practice
Key Attributes

- Personally, and professionally responsible
- Hold a full, valid, UK driving licence and have access to a car to use for business purposes (unless you have a disability as defined by the Equality Act 2010)
- To be Occupational Health cleared for the role specified
