Job overview
West London NHS Trust (WLT) has been commissioned to provide the first female, Level 2 specialist mental health high support rehabilitation ward, based at The Orchard Unit, St Bernards Hospital, Ealing.
We are seeking a number of enthusiastic and motivated Healthcare facilitators to join our dedicated team on Melrose ward. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of female mental health rehabilitation in a supportive and innovative environment. You will be part of a forward-thinking team committed to high quality patient care and recovery.
Melrose ward is a 10 bedded Level 2 specialist mental health high support rehabilitation ward, based at The Orchard in Ealing. The service will provide care and intensive support to women with complex mental health needs particularly where previous placements have been unable to adequality support their recovery. The service will offer trauma-informed, gender sensitive care with staff trained in the specific needs of women, as well as to facilitate family involvement and social inclusion supporting transitions to community settings.

We are looking for enthusiastic and highly experienced Band 3 Health Care Facilitators to join our team and help us to provide the highest quality care to meet the therapeutic needs of our patients during this time.
The post-holder will be responsible for contributing to healthcare under the supervision of a registered member of staff providing a recovery focused approach to physical, psychological, social, recreational and spiritual care to service users.
To establish and maintain communication with service users, carers and staff about routine and daily activities, overcoming any differences in communication between the people involved.
To contribute to own personal development and provide information to others to help their development.
To mentor and maintain own and others’ health, safety and security and of self and others.
To make changes to own practice and offer suggestions for improving service.
To maintain the quality of own work.
To promote people’s equality, diversity and rights.
