Job overview
Working within a team, you will be applying your analytical skills and knowledge to support our divisional reporting. You will be preparing and submitting trust returns and developing ad hoc and project related reports using business intelligence tools.
Main duties of the job
Main Duties:
- Assist in the provision of business information to support the Clinical Divisions
- Develop queries to respond to ad-hoc requests for reports/analyses
- Use processes to produce routine reports and analysis
- Advise staff on the use of information
- Work with other team members to develop new reports
Main preferred skills, knowledge and attributes:
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- SQL
- MS Excel
- Tableau
- Quick to learn
- Able to work both on own initiative and as part of a team
- Able to manage own work and to deliver work to deadlines
- Degree level education

- Degree level education in a numerate subject or at least two years post degree experience in informatics, analysis and reporting
Desirable criteria
- Higher degree or qualification
Experience and Knowledge
Essential criteria
- Information Analysis (2 plus years)
- Excel
- Basic SQL
Desirable criteria
- Advanced SQL
- BI tools, preferably Tableau or Power BI
