Digital Systems (Systems Development)

Integration Developer

Band 5 Salary: £23,023 - £29,608 per annum

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and technical individual to join the Trust’s Systems Development team. In this role you will be working alongside the Senior Systems Integration Specialist and Application Developers to build interfacing solutions between I.T systems.

The ideal candidate will be keen to learn and develop their skills in integration technologies such as HL7, Web Services and SOAP. You will be supported in the development and maintenance of system interfaces and have strong technical skills, experience of writing in one or more programming languages and knowledge of Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS). Experience in SQL Server 2008 or 2014 and the use of SQL for performing queries is an advantage. Adept at learning new technologies you will have attributes of picking up new skills quickly. Good communication skills are vital as the post-holder will be required to liaise with system suppliers at a technical level and hospital staff at all levels.
