Community Engagement Lead

Band 5

Trosolwg o'r swydd

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a high performing NHS Talking therapies service. Greenwich Time to Talk is recruiting a Community Engagement Lead. The key focus of this role will be to increase access to psychological interventions to residents aged 16+ in the borough of Greenwich. Attention will specifically be given to understanding and forging links within the local community and engaging groups of people who are frequently under-represented in therapy services including people from minority cultural backgrounds, people who do not speak English as a first language, older people, young people, LGBTQ+ people, veterans, people with disabilities and people from other less advantaged social backgrounds. The role will provide a route into psychological support and provide a care pathway into Steps 1-3 of the Stepped Care Model.

The successful applicant will be committed to developing and reflecting upon their understanding of diversity within the borough and interested in supporting the development of inclusive, accessible, and culturally informed resources.  They will be interested in addressing barriers and stigma with regards access to talking therapies.
