This is a 3 month secondment post.
This is a unique opportunity in which you will be able to solely focus on service development and improvement. You will work closely with service users, their loved ones, and staff to ensure their views, ideas and feedback shape the service and remain at the centre of all discussions, enabling coproduction and collaboration. In doing so, you will enhance and lead within our quality agenda and have a positive impact on service user and carer care and experiences.
We are looking for someone who is passionate around improving the experience of our service users and their loved ones, alongside recognising the significant value in working collaboratively with both.
The role is based across the RHS Care Hub. and working alongside the RHS Quality Team.
Prif ddyletswyddau'r swydd
Key tasks will include monitoring and analysing development opportunities and providing project management; leading on specific and agreed work streams.
Examples of work streams which meet the above quality objectives will include, but are not limited to:
· Delivery of specific identified actions from peer reviews, our quality strategy, auditing, feedback, etc.
· Improving service user experience.
· Delivery of a sustainable health and wellbeing college to support self-management for our service users.
· Implementation of the Triangle of Care and Family and Carer Strategy to ensure a sustainable quality experience of care for loved ones and carers.
· Development of co-production within the Care Hub.
· Development of patient forums and patient experience dashboards in collaboration with the Head of Quality.
· Supporting the development of a specialist training programme for RHS staff.

- Professional clinical qualification / registration (Nursing, OT, SW)
- Educated to degree level or equivalent in relevant health related area of practice
- Experience of change management within health related area of practice.

- Recognised leadership or management qualification
- Recognised project qualification or willingness to work towards e.g. PRINCE 2
- Educated Masters level in relevant health related area of practice
Experience

- Experience of leading clinical projects and implementing change
- Proven track record of achieving targets
- Experience in a leadership role and managing / developing more junior staff
- Experience of analysing and evaluating complex data
- Experience of writing and presenting high quality reports to a range of stakeholder
- Experience of delivering training or workshops across staff teams and disciplines
- Promotion and development of external and internal partnerships
- Experience of co-design and patient partnership initiatives
- Project management skills with demonstrable experience in leading projects.

- Previous management / leadership of a recovery / CQUIN initiative

Knowledge

- Excellent knowledge of IT - Word, Excel, data collection models.
- knowledge of NHS England commissioning arrangements
- Working knowledge of new code of practice (MHA 183) and other government policies to improve mental health services
- Knowledge of the self-care agenda and ‘recovery college’ model

- Knowledge and awareness of the role of co-production in design and delivery of quality services
- Awareness of the importance of engaging those with lived experience in the design and delivery of quality care
- Awareness of the importance of engaging carers in the design and delivery of quality care

- Evidence of supporting a range of staff in the delivery of project objectives
- Ability to action plan and problem solve
- Ability to have vision and to work this up in to a meaningful action plan
- Ability to effectively evaluate projects and use ongoing improvement methodologies to plan changes
