Band 2 Housekeeper - Acute Medical Unit (AMU)

Part Time - Permanent Contract 

To cover 7 days per week 

An opportunity has arisen for a motivated individual to join the Acute Medical Unit (AMU) team and help make a positive difference. House keeping in AMU is an important role in supporting the team in providing a high quality service to our patients.

Previous house keeping experience is an advantage but not essential as full training will be provided. 

 

Main duties of the job

You will be responsible for assisting the team in providing departmental services in close liaison with other services within the trust.

  • General cleanliness and tidiness of the department
  • On-going monitoring and ordering of stock 
  • Reporting faults and  broken equipment 
  • Supporting safety by maintaining confidentiality and security
  • Assist with meal time
